FARMINGTON, ME (April 16, 2009)--University of Maine at Farmington is
hosting its annual UMF Education Job Fair, Maine's only career fair
designed specifically for prospective educators. This event is free and

Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in the North Dining Halls in UMF's Olsen Student

Sponsored by the University's Center for Human Development, this career
fair offers job seekers the opportunity to learn about educational job
openings in and outside the state of Maine, network with professionals in

this chance to connect with the well-prepared educators that graduate from
Farmington," said Katherine Yardley, dean of the UMF College of Education,
Health and Rehabilitation. "Undergraduate opportunities to continually
connect theory with practice enable UMF graduates to be very successful in
today's classrooms."
